Leah Lindsay goes above and beyond serving the communities she is involved in. Deemed “Best Community Volunteer” by a public poll held by Flathead County’s The Daily Inter Lake, Leah has consistently placed in the "Top 3" of "Best Community Volunteer" category for the past 15 consecutive years, earning the Top #1 spot 13 times (including #1 in 2023). Her heart for volunteerism and service to the community is endless.

Born and raised in Montana, Leah is a fifth generation Montanan, a mother of four and grandmother to 5 children. She loves her family deeply and treats everyone she meets as family also. Leah has the old-fashioned Montana “never met a stranger” mentality. Due to her volunteerism and connections throughout the state, Leah serves as a conductor, igniting solutions for anyone presenting a conundrum or need. She has interviewed people from all walks of life including many celebrities and families experiencing grief and trauma.

In the 1970s, Leah’s mother ran for and was elected to a position as a Montana State Senator, joining Leah’s Grandpa, George McCallum, in the Montana State Senate. Leah first began serving the public as a Page in the House of Representatives at age 11 and continued serving as a Page in either the House of Representatives or State Senate through her senior year of high school. Throughout childhood, Leah moved frequently across the state and changed schools often. As a teen, she chose to “settle down” with her dad in Plains, MT; where she graduated from Plains High School in 1983 and began dating her high school sweetheart. After they married, they became a Navy family moving between Chicago, Orlando, Idaho and multiple cities in California. Leah’s 2 oldest children were born on naval bases and they all returned to Montana in 1989.

Leah enrolled in the University of Montana where she studied theatre in Missoula’s Drama & Dance department being awarded the "Talent Scholarship" as a college freshman and went on to direct and act in productions constantly. She was nominated for the Irene Ryan Award in the early 90's then in 1996, Leah moved her family to Kalispell and began her radio career the following year. The opportunities this career provided were vast and Leah Lindsay soon became a household name in the Flathead Valley. Leah was also cast as a host in the television series Montana Live! and began emceeing a wide array of events annually. Leah has volunteered and/or emceed balls, events, pageants and parades for non-profits for more than a quarter century. The local charities she serves in this way include: Valicity’s Once Upon A Time Princess Ball, Habitat for Humanity of the Flathead Valley, CASA, Kalispell's Chamber of Commerce, Montana Logjam, Abbie Shelter, Violence Free Crisis Line, the Conrad Mansion of Kalispell, Flathead CARE, Flathead Food Bank, United Way, Montana Down Syndrome Association/the Buddy Walk, Special Olympics, The Walk to End Alzheimer's, Saint Jude's, Wing's, local schools from elementary through high school throughout Flathead County and many other organizations.

In 2012, Leah was awarded the Soroptomist's "Ruby Award" which is designated for women helping women. In 2018, Bigfork Art and Cultural Center honored Leah as one of Flathead Valley's Local Heroes in their exhibition, "Art of the Hero." Presently, Leah leads a team of 9 licensed Realtors in Northwest Montana with her brokerage, Montana Property Angels. She has attended state legislative sessions with the Northwest Montana Association of Realtors and currently serves on the Public Relations Committee in addition to continuing service for a majority of the non-profits listed on an annual basis. For fun, Leah loves to attend her husband, Luke's live music sets and concerts together, especially when road trips are involved. Leah loves anything involving a road trip. She enjoys travelling out of state yet nothing compares to the beauty of her Treasure State, the Last Best Place, Montana.
